Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Inspired by her observations of shadows on the ground, the artist spent many months perfecting a technique to convey objects in two dimensions onto canvas. When objects live or perishable, such as fruits and people, they become a painting of them. Her ephemeral painterly style is obvious and what survives of Alexa Meade's works is a photograph. Photography and painting are tightly together to produce an unflattering two-dimensional space that is trompe-l'oeil. Certain places three dimensions are visible, like close to the eyes or in the hair. Meade often integrates her paintings within the three-dimensional space surrounding them. They can interact in this self-created universe. In this way, she has dissolved the boundaries between painting, photography and performing.
