He was often criticized at school. Being an avid Spider-Man follower, he saw himself as Spiderman's alter ego, Peter Parker. After having attended several schools, including Priory Preparatory School and City of London Freemen's School the actor went to Central School of Speech and Drama as well as the University of London where he was awarded his degree in 2004. In 2004, he came to the realization that he no longer interested in business and pursuing a career in the field of acting. In 2005, he started his professional career as an actor, and was featured in "Sugar Rush," the British series. He played his first leading role two years later on "Boy A" as a troubled child seeking to come back from having spent time in jail. The film's star is "The Social Network" He also appeared as the lead character in the film "The Incredible Spider-Man" as well as in 2016. he was chosen to be the leading character in the drama of historical significance "Silence." He received countless awards which included an award from the BAFTA Award, Tony Award along with an A.A.C.T.A. After his role in Hacksaw Ridge, he was awarded the prize for "Best Actor".
